Addressing Cloud Vulnerabilities
The cloud offers organizations tremendous opportunities, and this session is designed to help IT and security leaders understand and address the unique challenges related to securing applications in the public cloud. With a focus on securing the public cloud, we’ll address an organization’s typical cloud journey, including hybrid, all-in cloud and leveraging DevOps for increased agility.
We’ll start with an overview of the “shared responsibility” model that public cloud vendors use to clarify who’s responsible for the security of what – typically above and below the hypervisor or equivalent layer. Next, we’ll address specific use cases and customer examples which highlight some of the key challenges and solutions for securing applications, data, virtual infrastructure and cloud workloads.
